Rubina J Manson-Sandlin Award for Servant Leadership 1.o

Rubina J. Manson-Sandlin, served the Franklin community as the head administrative assistant for over a decade. In June 2019, she passed away after a long battle with cancer and she will forever be missed. Rubina was a warm presence in the main office, treated everyone who came into the building with kindness and care, and worked tirelessly to keep the school community operating at a high level. In so many ways, she held Franklin together. To honor her life and the unique, invaluable contribution she made to Franklin, a scholarship was established in 2019, funded through donations by FHS Faculty & Staff. In 2024 the Franklin Alumni Association & Foundation, through generous donations, took over funding this scholarship and re-named it Rubina 2.0.
